Sunday Work Party - cancelled

13 December, 2020

Due to the second national lockdown and Government guidelines put in place to control the spread of Covid-19, HDC have taken the decision to cancel all remaining work parties for 2020.

Join our Sunday practical conservation team and help with work that needs to be done around the Reserve, including coppicing trees and opening up scrub to diversify habitat, managing the islands for waders and terns, and laying hedges in the traditional way.

  • No previous experience is needed.
  • We’ll show you how to do the work.
  • Range of tasks to suit all abilities, energies and ages.
  • Meet new friends who also enjoy wildlife and the open air.
  • Find out how management benefits wildlife.
  • Tools, safety equipment and refreshments are provided.

Anyone is welcome, but please get in touch with Trevor Coughlan for more information before your first visit: trevcoughlan@hotmail.co.uk
