The Friends of Paxton Pits Nature Reserve organises activities and events to help raise awareness of the Reserve. These include monthly guided walks, talks on a wide range of wildlife topics and surveys of the reserve. Events are free and open to all unless otherwise stated.

Visitors are advised to wear suitable clothing for outdoor events with strong boots or shoes, and hats in the summer sun.

Enjoy a guided walk and hear the massed choirs of the birds of Paxton Pits, hopefully including nightingales.

The Visitor Centre will be open for the purchase of tea and coffee etc. after the walk.
