The Friends of Paxton Pits Nature Reserve organises activities and events to help raise awareness of the Reserve. These include monthly guided walks, talks on a wide range of wildlife topics and surveys of the reserve. Events are free and open to all unless otherwise stated.

Visitors are advised to wear suitable clothing for outdoor events with strong boots or shoes, and hats in the summer sun.

    Our new series of guided walks around the Reserve with our friendly and knowledgeable volunteers are now confirmed! All are informal, family-friendly and free. Come along and meet like-minded people, and learn a little bit more about your local Nature Reserve and its wildlife residents.
