Fungus Day – Guided walks

We will explore the reserve searching for fungi. Experts will be on hand to help with their identification and explain their ecological roles and other fascinating facts about them. There will be two walks, each starting from the visitor centre and lasting about two hours. The morning session starts at 10.30 AM and the afternoon one at 1.30 AM. A selection of the finds will be displayed at the visitor centre after each session.

The event is free, as is the parking, but donations to the Friends of Paxton Pits are welcome. Toilets and a cafe will be open in the visitor centre. This is a family friendly event and should appeal to all age groups.
