As a designated Dragonfly Hotspot, we were very disappointed that the weather forced us to cancel our annual Dragonfly Day. We are pleased to announce that we are changing our our planned Guided Walk for August to focus on all things dragonfly, though we will be looking for butterflies and other insects as well!

There will be two guided walks, starting at 11.00 am and 2.00 pm, led by our local experts, Ann Miles and Ian Crosby. The walks will take two different routes and will both start from the Visitor Centre.

There will be no charge for these walks, so come along and help us spot as many species of dragonfly and damselfly as we can. Any donations to the Friends of Paxton Pits will go to the upkeep of the nature reserve.
