Did you know there is a small and dedicated group of bird ringers who volunteer at the reserve? They are licensed by the British Trust for Ornithology to ring birds and collect data for their national database.

Come along and see what is involved, why the data is collected and enjoy the chance of seeing these beautiful birds up close!

The demo will take place outside the Yard along the Heron Trail (follow the arrows from the Visitor Centre).

The demo is free, as a thank you by the ringers for the financial support provided by the Friends of Paxton Pits, however, any donations are gratefully received.
