Carole and her husband George are well known at Paxton Pits for their vast knowledge and expertise with the many bat and small mammal surveys they have conducted here.

Carole’s talk tonight will be about an unexpected adventure, than began with bat detectors beside an African lake, and ended with four trips to southern African countries to study the amazing variety of bats they found!

The talk is £3 with proceeds going towards the Friends of Paxton Pits to help fund the upkeep of the reserve. Refreshments will be available to purchase.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.00 pm start.
