Have you ever thought about volunteering at Paxton Pits? There are lots of opportunities to help, in a variety of ways. At present, we are particularly short of help in the Visitor Centre. You might have noticed that, on a few days recently, the centre was closed. This was due to lack of volunteers. When the centre is closed there is no one to greet visitors or tell them about the wildlife of Paxton Pits. And, of course, no one to sell drinks or ice creams, which reduces our income. All the money raised in the shop goes towards maintaining and improving the reserve.
If you are able to spare a few hours to help, please contact us. You can:

- complete our Volunteer Opportunities Form and hand it in at the Visitor Centre
